Graphy, general subscription closed… "KOSDAQ listing on August 25th"

Graphy Co., Ltd. (CEO: Sim Woon-seop), a company specializing in 3D printing-based transparent orthodontic devices, has completed its general subscription and will be listed on the KOSDAQ market on August 25.

Graphy, which secured a total of 30.1 billion won in funds including the underwriter's mandatory subscription through this initial public offering (IPO), plans to aggressively attack the global orthodontic market with the world's first shape memory transparent orthodontic device, the 'SMA (Shape Memory Aligner).'

The general public offering was conducted for a total of 543,340 shares, including 487,500 shares, representing 25% of the total offering, and 55,840 shares remaining after the employee stock ownership association subscription. Over the two-day period, 21,647,710 shares were subscribed, and the subscription deposit was approximately KRW 162,357,825,000. The company stated that despite the mixed results of institutional demand forecasts, it secured strong general public subscription demand, enabling it to secure a stable listing on KOSDAQ.

Sim Woon-seop, CEO of Graphy, said, “We will quickly invest the approximately 30 billion won secured through the IPO in purchasing raw materials and securing a leading supply chain, and accelerate the establishment of a U.S. corporation and the construction of a local production line to establish a sales foundation in new markets. We will focus on shortening lead times and accelerating sales growth.”

Graphy currently has a global network with over 150 distributors in over 90 countries. The funds from this IPO will be used to expand sales strategies tailored to each market, strengthen overseas marketing, and strengthen partnerships. Furthermore, the company plans to strengthen its academic marketing efforts with key speakers to expand the SMA user base and enhance the reliability of its technology and products, thereby expanding its market share.

Meanwhile, the global orthodontic market is projected to grow from approximately KRW 70 trillion in 2020 to KRW 150 trillion by 2030, at a CAGR of 7.7%. Graphy aims to enhance responsiveness through customized business models and flexible market strategies, while building a stable business structure through collaboration with proven partners.

Furthermore, Graphy plans to leverage its core material design and synthesis capabilities to expand its business into high-value-added industries such as digital dentistry, medical healthcare, and engineering plastics. Drawing on its experience in developing SMAs, Graphy plans to apply its technology across all areas of dentistry, including prosthetics and surgical guides. By commercializing new biocompatible products and customized, high-performance materials, Graphy aims to expand into a global platform business.
