Acrylic Selected for the 2025 AI Star Fellowship Program

Acryl (CEO Park Oe-jin), an artificial intelligence (AI) platform specialist, has been selected, along with Sungkyunkwan University, for the "2025 AI Star Fellowship Support Project," hosted by the Ministry of Science and ICT. Through this project, Acryl will begin developing next-generation AI agent technology and fostering related talent.

The project aims to "develop collaborative intelligent agent technology for human-AI collaborative collaboration," and will be implemented over a period of five years and six months, from July 2025 to December 2030. The total project cost is 11.55 billion won, of which the government will provide approximately 11 billion won in support.

Through this project, Acryl plans to enhance its LLMOps platform, "Jonathan," into an AgentOps platform specialized for the healthcare sector. Specifically, the company aims to expand traditional LLMOps by focusing on "Synergistic AI Multi-Agent technology," which enables configuration and collaboration between autonomous multi-agents.

Acryl plans to combine this technology with its medical AI platform, NADIA, to strengthen its competitiveness in the global healthcare market. To achieve this, the company will jointly develop specialized medical agent services, experience-based humanoid agent technology, and standardization technology for interoperability with heterogeneous systems.

In particular, the primary goal is to implement practical workflow automation technology through real-time operational data processing and external system integration by introducing a role-based agent division of labor structure (diagnosis, response, and monitoring). This technology will be integrated into the Jonathan platform and utilized to enhance the functionality of Nadia, currently in operation in overseas hospitals.

Acrylic is also demonstrating technological achievements in the field of AI agents. In 2024, it presented its LLM-based task planning and RAG technologies at major international conferences such as NeurIPS and EMNLP. Furthermore, its Korean-language LLM, "A-LLM," maintained the top spot on the W&B "Tiger Leaderboard" in the open source category for four months, demonstrating its technological prowess.

The company stated, “Through this project, we plan to focus on securing practical, application-based technologies and training specialized personnel in the medical and healthcare fields,” and “We will present a companion service paradigm in which AI technology evolves alongside users’ lives.”
