
The Korea Technology Finance Corporation (Korea Technology Finance Corporation, Chairman Kim Jong-ho, hereinafter referred to as “KIBO”) announced that it held a “Workshop for Safety and Health Supervisors and Managers at Sales Offices” on Monday the 11th at its Seoul office with the theme of spreading safety culture and strengthening safety management capabilities.
This workshop was held to comprehensively review Kibo's safety management system, enhance understanding of the new government's safety and health policies and institutional trends, and enhance the safety management capabilities of practitioners.
The event was hosted by Kim Jong-ho, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kibo, and safety management personnel and safety and health management supervisors from each branch attended to share various voices from the field.
The workshop featured in-depth discussions on topics such as the new administration's safety and health policy trends, KIBO's safety and health goals and implementation strategies, and the current status of KIBO's safety and health management system. Participants shared various ideas and improvement plans to prevent near-miss accidents that could occur on-site, and explored effective safety management strategies.
Kim Jong-ho, Chairman of Kibo, emphasized, "Even if there's a safety management manual, it's meaningless if it's not implemented on-site. It's crucial for the entire organization to actively practice and incorporate a safety culture into their daily lives." He added, "Going forward, Kibo will further strengthen our field-centered safety management system in line with the government's safety-enhancing policy and take the lead in creating a safe work environment."
Meanwhile, KIBO is expanding safety and health education for all executives and employees, improving the safety and health management system (KOSHA-MS), and strengthening safety management in contracted projects. Through these multifaceted efforts, the company is enhancing the safety culture and safety and health management level throughout the organization.
