The Daejeon Creative Economy Innovation Center (CEO Daehee Park, hereinafter referred to as the Daejeon Innovation Center) is recruiting prospective entrepreneurs to participate in the '2025 Preliminary Startup Package Pre-Incubating Program (hereinafter referred to as Ready Startup)' until 4:00 PM on the 21st.
"Ready Startup" is a pre-incubation program designed to help aspiring entrepreneurs with innovative technologies and business models (BMs) validate and develop their ideas. It supports all stages of startup preparation through practical entrepreneurship training, personalized one-on-one mentoring, and opportunities to participate in Demo Day. Successful participants are provided with benefits linked to the following year's Pre-Startup Package program.
The Daejeon Innovation Center was selected as a pilot program operator in 2024 and ran the program for approximately five months, receiving high satisfaction from participants.
This program will select approximately 15 prospective entrepreneurs and provide training and mentoring for approximately four months, from September to December. Selected participants will receive practical training and mentoring on business strategy, pitching skills, and market entry. Top graduates will be selected through a final Demo Day.
The recruitment target is prospective entrepreneurs who have no business registration or corporate establishment history as of the announcement date (August 12, 2025). Applicants who possess technology-based items in any field, including information and communication, bio/medical, design, and environment, may apply.
Aspiring entrepreneurs wishing to participate should submit their application and related documents via email (kys@ccei.kr) by 4:00 PM on Thursday, August 21st. Further details can be found on the Daejeon Center for Creative Economy and Innovation website or at K-Startup.
Daejeon Innovation Center CEO Park Dae-hee said, “Ready Startup is a program that can serve as a practical first step toward realizing startup ideas,” and added, “We look forward to the interest and participation of many aspiring entrepreneurs who are taking on the challenge of technology-based startups.”
