Carbon accounting solutions company 'AENTS' announced that it has been selected as the implementing agency for the 'Export Voucher Support Project' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, and will support domestic companies' entry into the global market.
The Export Voucher Support Program aims to strengthen the export competitiveness of domestic small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs). It offers a variety of support services tailored to each company's specific needs. Through this program, companies can access services across 14 areas, including research, general consulting, international standard certification, exhibition support, interpretation and translation, and international transportation.
Starting in January 2025, Entz will provide a variety of carbon accounting services to companies affected by global climate regulations, such as Europe's Carbon Border Adjustment Tax (CBAM), or those required by their partners to disclose carbon emissions. Key services include: ▲Establishing Scope 1 and 2 greenhouse gas inventories; ▲Establishing Scope 3 greenhouse gas inventories; ▲Responding to CDP (Carbon Disclosure Project) assessments; and ▲Calculating carbon emissions by product. Scope 1, 2, and 3 distinguish direct, indirect, and external emissions from corporate activities, providing a critical basis for developing effective greenhouse gas reduction strategies.
Enz is supporting companies' smooth transition to carbon neutrality through its carbon accounting platform, "Enscope." This platform automatically collects data by linking a company's ERP system with external systems, and calculates and verifies carbon emissions according to international standards. It also enables automatic carbon report generation, reduction project simulation, third-party verification for regulatory compliance, and emissions trading. Enz also meets companies' ESG requirements through its "Enscope for ESG" service, which manages ESG data and responds to sustainability disclosure requirements.
Park Gwang-bin, CEO of Enz, said, “We are delighted that Enscope has been selected as the implementing agency for the ‘Export Voucher Support Project’ in recognition of its accurate data collection and technological prowess. We will do our best to help domestic companies effectively respond to the carbon neutrality goals demanded in the global market and secure export competitiveness.”
