Pamcle and Discovery Eskorea Sign Product Consignment Production Agreement

Domestic bio-side representative company ‘Pharmcl Co., Ltd. (CEO Jeon Chan-min)’ announced that it has signed a contract for the consignment production of Maxforce gel products with Discovery ES Korea Co., Ltd. (Envu).

Discovery Eskorea is the Korean branch of Envu, the new name for the environmental science division of the global company Bayer, and supplies various well-known brands such as Maxforce and Lakumin in Korea.

This contract is for the production of Envu's anti-venom gel products, one of Envu's quarantine products. Discussions began in 2023, and the final contract was signed after a strict verification process and review by 'Envu Global'. The products produced will be supplied to the domestic and Asian markets.

Preparations are underway for the introduction of new equipment and auxiliary materials for the main production starting in March, and Envu officials are currently visiting the Palmcl Hoengseong factory to conduct trial production and inspect detailed standards and procedures for each product for main production to ensure the best quality.

In particular, the Maxforce Gel product line to be produced at the Hoengseong plant is a product of a long-standing partnership with Pharmcle, which first launched this product in the domestic market in 1989, the first year of its founding. Since then, it has continued its long-term collaboration as a domestic distribution channel partner selling various Maxforce Gel products.

Pharmcl CEO Jeon Chan-min said, “It is a very moving moment for us to be able to directly produce Maxforce, which we have been with for over 35 years, at the Pharmcl factory,” adding, “Just as we have continued to invest in the production and supply of high-quality products, we will continue to strive to become a good production partner that implements global standards by meeting international standards such as ISO and GMP through the establishment of state-of-the-art facilities and personnel reinforcement.”

Meanwhile, Pharmcle Co., Ltd. is a leading biocide company that has led the domestic professional quarantine market and consumer pesticide market for the past 35 years. In order to make a second leap forward, it established a factory equipped with the latest facilities in Hoengseong in 2022 and is promoting consignment production as a new main business area in addition to manufacturing and selling products under its representative brand, ZAPS.
