Suprema Selected as a "2025 Emerging AI+X TOP 100"

Suprema (CEO Jaewon Lee and Hancheol Kim) , a company specializing in AI integrated security solutions, has been selected for the '2025 Emerging AI+X TOP 100'. The 'Emerging AI+X TOP 100', hosted by the Korea Artificial Intelligence Industry Association (AIIA), refers to the 100 companies that are expected to lead future innovation through the convergence of emerging and AI technologies with various industries (X) with even greater future value. Every year, AIIA selects and announces promising AI companies with future value in technology and business based on criteria such as growth potential and innovation.

Suprema provides integrated security solutions leveraging cutting-edge technologies such as AI-based biometric authentication and intelligent video analysis. It has applied its proprietary AI algorithms to technologies such as fingerprint recognition, facial authentication, video surveillance, and behavioral analysis, and has advanced deep learning AI technology based on its expertise and technological prowess in biometric authentication and access security, accumulated over 20 years. Furthermore, it is the first in the industry to introduce an NPU (Neural Processing Unit) to ensure stable operation of AI algorithms at the edge and has implemented innovative lightweight AI engine technology. This allows it to provide biometric authentication-based access control solutions with high-performance on-device AI such as BioStation 3 and BioStation 2a, as well as BioStar 2 VMS, which integrates AI-based access control and intelligent video surveillance.

Recently, the Q-Vision Pro, an on-device AI module that combines AI-based facial recognition and behavioral analysis, won a CES 2025 Best Innovation Award in recognition of its technological prowess. It can be installed in standalone devices, such as ATMs, and uses facial recognition and behavioral analysis to detect suspicious behaviors such as gun possession, voice phishing, unauthorized access, and loitering, predicting potential financial crimes and blocking illegal transactions, thereby protecting both customers and the bank's assets.

Kim Han-cheol, CEO of Suprema, said, "We are delighted that Suprema has been recognized by such a credible organization as a security solution provider specializing in AI technology. Going forward, we will continue to research and invest in AI technology to provide innovative solutions and platforms, contributing to the safety of our customers and society."
