VivaLabs Secures Seed Investment

Vivalabs announced that it has secured seed investment from Hyperconnect founder and CEO Sang-il Ahn. This investment is interpreted as a recognition of Vivalabs' market-proven technological prowess and the company's potential for innovation in senior healthcare in an aging society.

CEO Sang-il Ahn is an entrepreneur who founded Hyperconnect, the developer of the video chat app 'Azar', and sold it to Match Group for approximately 2 trillion won in 2021. Through this investment, he will participate as a strategic investor (SI) in Viva Labs.

VivaLabs is a healthcare company that utilizes AI technology to analyze senior health data and implement personalized exercise prescription systems. Its main services include "EasyTenix," an AI-based personalized exercise prescription algorithm software, and "EasyPlex," a one-on-one strength training group exercise class for seniors.

The CEO of VivaLabs stated, "With this investment, we plan to focus on opening premium, directly-operated stores for active seniors and expand our service areas to include welfare centers, senior centers, and daycare centers." He added, "By expanding our directly-operated stores and franchise system nationwide, we will set a new standard for senior exercise platforms." He added, "Through collaborations with medical institutions, we will develop our customized senior exercise services into a comprehensive healthcare platform."
