Sage (CEO Jong-Woo Park and Young-Seok Hong) , an artificial intelligence (AI)-based vision solution company, announced on the 22nd that its AI-based safety monitoring solution, Sage Safety, has received GS (Good Software) certification Grade 1.
GS certification is a nationally recognized certification system in which the Telecommunications Technology Association (TTA) comprehensively evaluates various factors, including functionality, reliability, efficiency, usability, and maintainability, for excellent domestic software products. In particular, obtaining a Grade 1 rating means that the product has the highest level of quality.
Sage Safety, which has acquired GS certification this time, is a safety solution that monitors safety factors that may occur in industrial sites through existing CCTVs and automatically detects them using AI technology. It is a solution specialized in the Serious Disaster Punishment Act that identifies risk factors that may lead to large-scale industrial accidents, such as failure to wear a safety helmet, safety belt, or safety vest, fire, smoke, falling, intrusion, and heavy equipment entrapment, and provides immediate notifications to users. It has been officially certified for intelligent CCTV performance by the Korea Internet & Security Agency (KISA) in the areas of wandering, intrusion, and falling.
Sage CEO Hong Young-seok said, “We will continue to work to improve Sage Safety and apply it to various industrial sites.”
Meanwhile, last December, Sage Safety was selected as an industrial convergence innovation product by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
