Stance Unveils Next-Generation Digital Twin Solution at CES 2025

MDS Intelligence, a key affiliate of AI embedded solution specialist MDS Tech, and digital twin specialist Stance (CEO Jeon Ji-hye) , a subsidiary of MDS Intelligence, announced on the 22nd that it successfully completed the event by participating in 'CES 2025' held in Las Vegas, USA for four days from the 7th. At CES 2025, the company established various business networks with global companies as well as domestic research institutes and companies with its differentiated digital twin technology and its own solution AWAS (Ai Worker Assistance Solution).

At CES 2025, Stance's main topics covered sustainable energy using ESG-based innovative technologies, intelligent life connected with AI and IoT, and smart cities. In line with these trends, the company introduced its digital twin integrated control solution, 'AWAS-DT 2.0'. In particular, 'AWAS-DT 2.0' with Stance's Auto-i3D technology applied presented a new alternative for building next-generation smart cities, receiving a lot of attention, the company explained.

Stance's 'AWAS-DT' is a digital twin integrated control authoring solution that intuitively visualizes and simulates complex data such as digital space creation, data linkage, and data analysis. 'AWAS-DT' has the advantage of implementing a realistic, lifelike digital twin with high-precision LOD technology.

Stance's 'AWAS-DT' was recognized for its technological prowess by winning the Smart Cities category at the 'CES Innovation Awards' held in November last year. Thanks to this, about 500 related officials from Korea and abroad, including KEIT (Korea Institute of Industrial Technology Evaluation and Planning), KETI (Korea Electronics Technology Institute), Science and Security Promotion Center, and Hyundai Motor Company, visited the Stance booth and engaged in active networking.

In particular, smart city and industrial infrastructure, and energy sector professionals from the U.S. and Europe showed great interest in Stance’s digital twin technology. “They paid attention to the automation of city-level 3D modeling through Auto-i3D technology, AI-based real-time data analysis and simulation functions, and support for industrial safety and sustainable energy management,” a company official said. “The technology was evaluated as an innovative solution that can reduce costs and time in smart city construction and industrial infrastructure projects.” He added, “They also responded positively, mentioning the possibility that it can be effectively applied to public safety and urban planning.”

The 'AWAS-DT 2.0' unveiled at this year's CES 2025 is equipped with Auto-i3D technology that can automatically implement 3D modeling using only images taken by devices such as smartphones or cameras, and can support everything from small objects to city-level modeling. Through this, users can easily create digital twin content and understand and effectively utilize data more easily through visual representation of unstructured data.

'AWAS-DT' provides real-time risk detection and safety prediction simulation functions in conjunction with AWAS-Insight, an image analysis solution, enabling control of various image-based phenomena and situations on a digital twin. In addition, it can be combined with and used independently with Stance's realistic XR authoring solution 'AWAS-XR' and 'AWAS-3DMAT', an ultra-precision 3D manual authoring solution that shines in education and training at construction, manufacturing, and production sites, providing customized solutions that suit the user's purpose, the company explained.

“Based on our achievements at CES 2025, we plan to expand the application of our digital twin solutions in various fields such as smart cities, industrial safety, and energy,” a company official said. “Through this, we plan to further strengthen our competitiveness in the global market and contribute to building a sustainable digital twin ecosystem.”
