Spring Onward Obtains ISO 45001 Occupational Safety and Health Management System Certification

Spring Onward (CEO Sae-bom Jeong), the operator of the coffee machine rental and coffee bean subscription service 'Wondu Daily', announced that it has obtained the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (ISO 45001) certification.

ISO 45001 certification is an international standard certification in the field of occupational health and safety established by the International Organization for Standardization (ISO). It is granted to companies that prevent various risks that may occur in the workplace and systematically manage the safety and health of the organization. Since January of last year, the Serious Accident Punishment Act has been applied to companies with less than 50 employees, and its importance has been further strengthened.

For this certification, Spring Onward has reviewed safety and health processes across all employee tasks to improve the work environment and eliminate risk factors. In particular, it is significant in that it has prevented safety accidents that may occur in the operation and manufacturing process of the coffee bean roasting plant and on-site activities for coffee machine rental services.

In addition, through continuous efforts to improve the environment, the company plans to convey that it considers the safety and health of its employees as its top priority and help employees work in a comfortable working environment.

Spring Onward has acquired quality management system (ISO 9001) and environmental management system (ISO 14001) certifications to fulfill the company’s sustainable growth and social responsibility. With this acquisition of ISO 45001, the company has proven that it is systematically implementing ESG management in all core areas of its management, including quality, environment, and safety and health.

Spring Onward CEO Jeong Sae-bom said, “I believe this ISO 45001 certification is an achievement of ESG management in which we are fulfilling our safety and health responsibilities towards our employees, who are the most important stakeholders in the ‘S (Social)’ area of ESG,” and added, “Spring Onward will continue these efforts to build trust with our stakeholders in the future.”
