Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, introduction of Modusign for public use

Electronic signature specialist Modusign Co., Ltd. (CEO Lee Young-jun) announced on the 21st that it is contributing to creating economic effects through the efficiency of local event operation by introducing Modusign for public use to Gyeonggi Tourism Organization (CEO Cho Won-yong) .

Gyeonggi Tourism Organization is hosting various cultural and artistic local events such as conventions, exhibitions, festivals, and contests, including the representative event, 'DMZ OPEN Festival'. Accordingly, many types of contracts are being processed for public use through Allsign, and the entire contract process, which previously took an average of 9 days including printing, faxing, signing, and registered mail, was converted to a 4-step digital process of uploading and sending contracts, signing and stamping, and document management, thereby drastically reducing event operation costs.

The Korea Tourism Organization signed a contract with the participating artists and writers of the 'DMZ OPEN Exhibition: Corridor', one of the 'DMZ OPEN Festivals' held in the Imjingak Peace Nuri area in Paju from May 9 to November 16, 2024, using Modusign's public electronic signature solution. The exhibition focused on revisiting the meaning of the DMZ and confirming its spatiality through the concept of 'corridor', and consisted of works that attempted the artistic possibilities of the corridor.

The Gyeonggi Tourism Organization introduced an electronic contract system for public use, Allsign, to sign contracts with domestic and foreign artists and other employees before holding an exhibition. The organization was able to quickly sign contracts with signatures and stamps without time and space restrictions, email, KakaoTalk signatures, and 'real-time signature progress confirmation'. Normally, the contract signing process takes several days to weeks, but with Allsign, you can sign a contract in just 5 minutes by clicking on a link sent via KakaoTalk and email. This is equivalent to a 95% reduction in the cost of conducting a face-to-face contract and a 9-day saving, drastically reducing unnecessary costs and work hours.

Lee Young-jun, CEO of Modusign, said, “I feel a sense of accomplishment that I can provide a quick and efficient administrative processing experience with electronic signatures for the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization’s various exhibitions and events,” and added, “We will continue to publicize Modusign so that it can be utilized more widely in economically effective events such as regional exhibitions and festivals.”

Meanwhile, Modusign is currently being used by Incheon Tourism Organization, BEXCO, Busan Port International Exhibition Convention Center (BPEX), and other places that host events or enter into business agreements. Documents required for hosting events, such as facility rental agreements, service agreements, and business agreements, are being collected and digitized through Modusign Public Use, and various documents are being collected. In organizations that collaborate with complex and diverse stakeholders and operate large-scale events, document and signature work needs to be done quickly. At this time, Modusign Public Use can help with the numerous contracts and administrative work required when hosting important events that bring economic effects to the local community. According to the Korea Tourism Organization, 21 festivals created an economic ripple effect of 176.8 to 182 billion won and created 258 jobs.
