Mindful Connect Signs Business Agreement with MY Social Company

Mindful Connect announced that it signed a business agreement (MOU) with impact investment firm MY Social Company (MYSC) for a 'venture studio' to build a Korean mental health startup ecosystem and attracted SEED investment. The amount of investment was not disclosed, but through this collaboration, Mindful Connect has laid an important foundation for building a mental health ecosystem.

Mindful Connect is a mental health company established to solve mental health problems in Korea. Since its establishment, it has been in the spotlight for its collaboration with global experts. It is growing rapidly by collaborating with partners from various fields, including former World Bank President Kim Yong and Professor Na Jong-ho of the Department of Psychiatry at Yale University.

Under this agreement, Mindful Connect plans to create a mental health startup ecosystem with MYSC. MYSC is operating the 'MetLife Inclusion Plus 7.0' startup incubation program supported by the MetLife Foundation, and the two companies aim to support the growth of digital mental health startups and expand mental health solutions suitable for Korean society and industry. They will also focus on helping Korean companies enter the global market and building a sustainable mental health ecosystem.

Mindful Connect is expected to strengthen its business momentum through this MOU signing and SEED investment attraction, and to bring about real changes in the mental health sector. MYSC CEO Kim Jeong-tae said, “The collaboration with Mindful Connect is an important first step toward realizing social impact in the mental health sector,” and “Through this agreement, we will support the growth of sustainable mental health solutions and expand them domestically and internationally.”
