Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Signs MOU with Kyungwoon University

Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence announced on the 21st that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Kyungwoon University for industry-academia cooperation in the fields of AI manufacturing and digital transformation.

This MOU signing ceremony was held at the Kyungwoon University headquarters, and was attended by President Kim Dong-je of Kyungwoon University and President of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence Korea, St. Brian. Based on their specialized knowledge and technological capabilities, the two organizations plan to establish an industry-academic cooperation system for joint technology development in the AI manufacturing and digital transformation fields and for fostering talent in the AI autonomous manufacturing field.

According to the agreement, the two organizations will build a platform to support R&D in the field of AI autonomous manufacturing and jointly plan new businesses related to AI autonomous manufacturing and digital transformation. In addition, Hexagon will operate workshops, seminars, and educational programs for Kyungwoon University students in the field of cooperation, and actively cooperate in fostering talent through cooperation in utilizing infrastructure and software to support R&D of small and medium-sized enterprises.

Kim Dong-je, President of Kyungwoon University, said, “We will continue to work with Hexagon to foster talent in the field of AI autonomous manufacturing in step with the AI era,” and “Through our collaboration with Hexagon, we expect to be able to provide students with in-depth educational programs and build competitiveness that students can utilize in the field.”
