Dahua Technology (hereinafter referred to as Dahua), a provider of global video-centric AIoT solutions and services, announced that it has obtained RED (Radio Equipment Directive) cybersecurity certification from TÜV SÜD for its wireless LAN equipment.

This certification demonstrates that Dahua’s transmission devices have enhanced cybersecurity capabilities and reflects the company’s ongoing commitment to strengthening data security and privacy. Dahua is one of the first companies in the industry to receive this certification, reaffirming its commitment to providing secure solutions to global customers in compliance with international standards.
The EU’s RED framework provides guidance to ensure the safety, performance and security of wireless devices. The EU recently extended the RED requirements to include connection security, personal data protection and fraud prevention through Delegated Regulation (EU) 2022/30. This revised directive, which will come into effect on 1 August 2025, sets higher security standards for connected devices entering the EU market, providing comprehensive protection for consumers and businesses.
