Busan Changgyeong, Busan-style workation networking event 'W-DAY' February schedule revealed

The Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (Center Director, hereinafter referred to as Busan Changgyeong) today released the February schedule for the Busan-style workation networking program, 'W-DAY'. 'W-DAY' is an event held for workation participants from various occupations to experience work and rest, network with each other, and promote workation culture and activate startup ecosystem cooperation communities.

W-DAY, which has been held under three themes of IT, marketing, and local, will be reborn as an event that further strengthens its business-type workation purpose by adding a ‘startup’ theme starting this year.

As part of this, on Wednesday, January 15, Song Geon-ho, CEO of ‘Lingsup’, a Busan Changgyeong childcare company and aspiring Google of the marine and fisheries industry, gave a lecture. Participants of Workation and many Busan fisheries industry-related officials attended the lecture by a startup that is innovating the domestic fisheries distribution and processing industry with a business model that combines Busan’s fisheries industry and IT. *Photo attached separately

The events to be held in February will include ▲ Tips on writing a business plan for a government-supported project in 2025 by participating companies at Workation, Sensible Company, ▲ All-round independent film director Hyeong Seul-woo GV from Busan, ▲ A lecture by Choi Yoon-hyung, CEO of Sight Communication, on the growth know-how of a one-person content planning company, ▲ A story and mini-exhibition by Jo Hwi-dong, CEO of Jobi215 Woodworking Shop, a local company in Yeongdo.

'W-DAY' is held every Wednesday at the Busan-type workation hub center (Asti Hotel 24th floor), and any Busan citizen can participate in addition to workation participants. You can check the application method on the Busan workation homepage bulletin board.
