Argo, Floatik and Robotics-based Logistics Productivity Improvement Demonstration in Full Implementation

Techtaka (CEO Yang Soo-young), which operates the integrated logistics platform 'Argo', announced that it will work with logistics robot specialist Floatic (CEO Lee Chan) to improve the productivity of logistics centers based on autonomous robots.

This collaboration was carried out to develop work solutions optimized for logistics sites and strengthen smart logistics competitiveness by combining the logistics IT technologies and robotics technologies of both companies.

Accordingly, Argo designs an automation model to link its own warehouse management system (WMS) with Plotik’s autonomous robots to build efficient routes and improve work speed, and demonstrates it at the Namcheon Logistics Center. To this end, Plotik supports 30 robots specialized in order picking work.

In addition, Techtaka and Floatik will begin building AI systems and AI algorithms, respectively, using the on-site work data acquired through autonomous driving robot operations, and will also develop next-generation logistics AI robot solutions based on this.

Yang Soo-young, CEO of Techtaka, said, “Based on our experience operating robots in logistics sites, we will build and gradually apply an optimal logistics productivity model that can reduce workers’ travel time and cut costs,” adding, “We will continue to pursue technological innovation so that Argo can present a new standard for smart logistics.”

“Flotic’s autonomous driving robots have previously proven their productivity in demonstration projects by reducing order picking tasks that take more than 20 minutes manually to less than 10 minutes,” said Lee Chan, CEO of Flotic. “This collaboration is significant in that it goes beyond a simple technological combination to create a new standard for next-generation logistics automation. We will build a data-driven decision-making system based on solutions proven in the field.”

Meanwhile, Argo and Floatik have been strengthening their collaboration since 2022, when they began developing robotic solutions for process automation in e-commerce logistics centers, with the goal of innovating efficient and scalable logistics automation robot technology.
