
Hyper Corporation (CEO Sang-seok Lee) announced on the 20th that it will propose additional business objectives for diversification at the extraordinary general meeting of shareholders to be held on February 25th. The company plans to expand its business areas to AI marketing, AI agencies, and the AI content market, thereby strengthening its competitiveness in future markets.
Hyper Corporation plans to develop AI-based marketing solutions and AI agent solutions. Furthermore, it is focusing on investing in promising startups in the generative AI field and developing a future growth strategy by leveraging AI for supply chain optimization and logistics systems.
According to a report by the Korea International Trade Association, the domestic AI market is projected to reach approximately $15.3 billion (KRW 22.3 trillion) by 2030. During the same period, the global AI market is projected to reach approximately $826.7 billion (KRW 1,204.9 trillion), approximately 54 times larger than the domestic market.
Hyper Corporation is also strengthening its human infrastructure to conquer the global AI market. It has nominated Jang Sang-hyun, former CEO of Kotline Best, as an internal director, with the goal of leveraging his global network and leadership to establish a bridgehead for its AI business in global markets, including the US. Jang is also known as a Hill School alumnus, along with Trump Jr., the eldest son of US President-elect Donald Trump.
Hyper Corporation CEO Lee Sang-seok stated, “In 2025, Hyper Corporation will continue to embrace change and challenges at the center of the AI business and leap forward as a leading company of the times,” adding, “We will achieve innovation together with new talents.”
Meanwhile, Hyper Corporation signed an MOU with Directortech, a generative AI video production company, last November.
