In particular, the two companies plan to cooperate in various fields related to digital asset trading, and will carry out comprehensive cooperation including consulting and technical support related to digital vouchers, RWA (Real-World Asset) asset trading, DeFi services, and security tokens (STO).
Kim Sang-min, CEO of Busan Digital Asset Exchange, said, “Through cooperation with Superblock, we plan to effectively apply blockchain technology to digital asset exchanges and provide a safer and more innovative trading environment,” adding, “It will play an important role in further strengthening competitiveness in the global digital asset market and developing Busan into a blockchain hub.”
Kim Jae-yoon, CEO of Superblock, said, “We plan to establish a global standard for the digital asset trading market through cooperation with Busan Digital Exchange,” and “We will maximize the potential of blockchain technology with products and DeFi services utilizing digital assets.”
Superblock is the developer of the blockchain platform 'Overprotocol' and is developing an Overprotocol-specific PC node client, mobile wallet, and blockchain-based digital voucher platform 'Overflex Market'. Through this agreement, Superblock will provide Bidan with blockchain technology and operational know-how to innovatively improve Bidan's digital asset exchange system and increase its reliability in the global market.
Busan Digital Asset Exchange released the beta version of the new platform 'Bdan' in December last year, and plans to launch the official version reflecting user feedback in March. In addition, it recently signed an MOU with global smart contract security company Certik, and is preparing to leap forward as a global digital financial hub through cooperation with Bitgo, ADDX, and Osaka Digital Asset Exchange (ODX). This agreement is expected to be an important milestone for Busan Digital Asset Exchange to establish itself as an innovative and trustworthy exchange in the global blockchain ecosystem.
