
CaratPant (CEO Lee Geon-woo) announced on the 20th that it successfully completed the 'CES 2025 On-Site Briefing' held in Las Vegas, USA as part of the development of an intelligent solution for producing actual measurements of cultural heritage.
This meeting was organized to discuss with the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage (Director Jong-Deok Lim) officials the verification and commercialization of the research and development outputs of the 'Cultural Heritage Smart Preservation and Utilization Technology Development Project⸥, which has been supported by the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage since 2022. In particular, the focus was on in-depth discussions on global market development and activation strategies and strengthening the foundation for industry-academia-research cooperation.
It started with a welcoming speech by CEO Lee Gun-woo of Caratpant, along with a presentation on the development background and research status of the ‘Intelligent Solution for Creating Digital Real-Size Drawings of Cultural Heritage.’ Next, he emphasized the utility of the product by introducing the technical excellence of Arch3D Liner, winner of the CES 2025 Innovation Award, and a cooperation model for entering the public market. In addition, he shared a plan to innovate the cultural heritage investigation and management system using software, a strategy for improving the quality of research data, and suggested a direction for building a virtuous cycle structure of industry-academia-research cooperation.
CaratPant plans to actively promote public sector software verification and commercialization projects in cooperation with the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage. Through this, the goal is to expand the usability of digital measurement drawing software and maximize the efficiency of cultural heritage research and investigation processes.
CEO Lee Geon-woo said, “This meeting was an opportunity for Caratfint to further solidify the foundation for cooperation in realizing the digital transformation of cultural heritage investigation and research,” and added, “With this award as an opportunity, we will continue to create global achievements through close cooperation with the National Research Institute of Cultural Heritage and strive to have Korea’s cultural heritage technology recognized worldwide.”
Meanwhile, CaratPant is developing a specialized cultural heritage collaboration tool system and is leading the digitalization of cultural heritage research based on this, setting a new standard for innovation in global cultural heritage management.
