The Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced that all 31 companies selected for the 2024 preliminary startup package successfully concluded their agreements and held the final inspection and performance sharing networking event, 'B.Meet-up day' on the 17th.
B.Meet-up day (performance networking) is a program that provides a final review of the performance of 31 selected companies that successfully completed the Busan Changgyeong 2024 preliminary startup package project, as well as a venue to build networks among the same groups and conclude the project.
This program consisted of ▲participatory event zone ▲startup support business consultation zone ▲networking zone ▲photo zone, etc. Communication between participants was carried out through the participatory event zone and networking zone, and as the preliminary startup package ended, a startup support business consultation zone was operated in conjunction with the early startup package to provide follow-up support. The startup companies that participated in this event said, “We believe that the feedback we received through this final inspection and performance networking will be of great help in setting the future direction of our business,” and “We would like to thank Busan Changkyung for their support for a year, and we hope to continue to maintain valuable relationships with fellow startup founders in the future.”
Meanwhile, the preliminary startup package is a project to foster and discover prospective entrepreneurs with innovative technology startup ideas, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and organized by Busan Changgyeong. Busan Changgyeong selected 31 prospective entrepreneurs last year and provided them with commercialization funds (up to 100 million won), professional mentoring, and various startup programs. The recruitment of prospective entrepreneurs for the '2025 preliminary startup package' is scheduled for late January or early February.
Busan Changgyeong PM Kim Mi-seong said, “As we wrap up the program, I would like to thank everyone who participated and while listening to each person’s achievements and experiences, I felt that we were creating an opportunity for everyone to grow together.” He added, “I support the new beginnings and innovation of startups and look forward to their continued success in creating startups.”
