Gangwon Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Lee Hae-jeong, hereinafter Gangwon Innovation Center) announced on the 17th that it held the '2024 Re:challenge Success Package Re:challenge Next Program (hereinafter Re-Challenge Program)' at Glad Hotel Mapo in Seoul.
The Re-Challenge Success Package is a package-type support project that supports the commercialization of potential re-establishment companies with a history of closure and re-establishment companies with less than 3 years of history, hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups and the Korea Institute of Startups and Entrepreneurship Development. The Re-Challenge Program was created to support the stable growth of businesses by linking follow-up projects to companies that participated in the Re-Challenge Success Package project last year after the end of the support project.
At the event, Kim Yeon-jun, CEO of Bomnal, and Han Wan-hee, CEO of New Kids Investment, were invited to give special lectures. CEO Kim Yeon-jun gave a presentation on the topic of ‘Understanding government-supported projects and writing business plans’, and CEO Han Wan-hee gave a presentation on the topic of ‘Representatives’ concerns and preparations at the end and beginning of the year’, providing valuable insights to the participants.
In addition, through 1:2 mentoring sessions with officials from follow-up projects being carried out this year, such as the Early Startup Package, Startup Leap Package, Startup Growth Technology Development Project Stepping Stone Project, and TIPS Program, participants had the opportunity to obtain practical information on the main features of each project and things to keep in mind when preparing.
Lee Hae-jeong, director of the Gangwon Innovation Center, said, “We will do our best to lay the foundation for stable growth and comprehensively strengthen our capabilities so that startups that have rekindled their dreams through the Re-challenge Success Package can advance to a greater future through linkages with follow-up businesses.”
