Smac, a company specializing in machine tool and robot automation solutions, announced on the 17th that it is opening a new central branch in Cheonan, South Chungcheong Province, to strengthen its strategy of conquering the semiconductor market.
The establishment of this central branch is part of the establishment of a major strategic base aimed at strengthening the competitiveness of the semiconductor-related manufacturing industry. SMAC plans to provide rapid and professional technical support for advanced machine tools and automation solutions through the central branch. In particular, it will strengthen consulting on establishing smart manufacturing systems to contribute to increasing the production efficiency of local manufacturers and enhancing the global competitiveness of domestic manufacturing. This is also in line with SMAC’s management policy of not only strengthening the competitiveness of manufacturers, but also increasing domestic exports and contributing to the development of the national economy.
The Central Branch will strengthen customer-oriented services such as ▲technical consulting ▲after-sales service (AS) ▲customized automation solutions. It will also operate field-oriented technical support and education programs optimized for regional industrial characteristics. Through this, it plans to support customers to respond nimbly to market changes and achieve continuous growth based on Smac’s technological prowess. In particular, it will focus on building a next-generation manufacturing ecosystem that combines smart factory technology with machine tools and automation solutions.
“Smack, which has a lot of equipment specifically tailored to semiconductors, is ready to enter a broader market based on ICT convergence technology and intelligent solutions,” said Ryu Jae-hee, executive director of Smack’s domestic sales division. “We will actively utilize smart manufacturing technology and AI-based innovative technology to increase our domestic and international market share and strengthen our competitiveness in overseas semiconductor markets.”

With performance renewal expected every quarter, it is expected to continue the upward curve this year as well. In particular, it plans to further solidify its position in the global market by promoting its technological prowess through the development of innovative new products in the smart manufacturing field and participation in major exhibitions.
