The Invention Lab Invests in I-Design Lab

The Invention Lab announced that it has completed its investment in IDesign Lab, Inc., which operates the global Korean language learning app 'FunPik'. The investment amount was not disclosed.

In this investment, The Invention Lab participated as a round lead investor, and through this, I Design Lab attracted a bridge investment of a total of 500 million won.

Kim Jin-young, CEO of The Invention Lab, said, “Based on the high demand for the Korean language in Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, we will connect FunPik services with various local companies and support aggressive global expansion.”

Meanwhile, FunPik service has recently shown positive performance, surpassing 900,000 global downloads, and plans to launch a new version 3.0 of the service at the end of this month.
