Wonju Medical Device Techno Valley (President Jong-Hyeon Han, hereinafter referred to as Techno Valley) participated in CES 2025 by establishing its first Wonju Pavilion for four days from the 7th to the 10th with the support of Wonju City (Mayor Kang-Su Won).
CES 2025 in the US is one of the world's top three IT and home appliance exhibitions, and Techno Valley established the Wonju Pavilion for the first time in 2025 to support Wonju companies' entry into the American market.
A total of 8 medical device manufacturing companies located in Wonju participated in this exhibition (▲ Newpong Co., Ltd. (ultrasound treatment device) ▲ Medicon Co., Ltd. (ultrasound beauty device) ▲ HBOTMedical Co., Ltd. (hyperbaric oxygen therapy device) ▲ MCure Co., Ltd. (skin drug injector) ▲ ODSO Co., Ltd. (AI kiosk hearing tester) ▲ Elecfield Future Co., Ltd. (portable X-ray) ▲ Connectedin Co., Ltd. (diabetic foot management solution) ▲ Team Elysium Co., Ltd. (body analysis device)) and promoted their excellence in the digital healthcare field.
During the exhibition period, companies participating in the Wonju Pavilion achieved 482 consultations (consultation amount of 2.8 million dollars) and 2,700 visits. In addition, companies participating in the Wonju Pavilion communicated with global companies at the CES 2025 exhibition and worked hard to develop the American market.
In particular, ODSO Co., Ltd. received investment and joint research proposals for entering the US market, and Newpong Co., Ltd. received interest from global companies such as L'Oréal and Philips as well as distributors as the world's first Curve-type hospital-use HIFU equipment is about to be released for home use. Connectedin Co., Ltd., a digital healthcare platform specialist, received great attention by unveiling 'DiaFootCare', a customized management platform for diabetic foot patients. Team Elysium Co., Ltd., which won the Innovation Award, was constantly visited by visitors. Key figures such as the National Assembly Research Service visited through the docent tour conducted by KOTRA. In addition, they decided to continue discussions about introducing a body shape analyzer with a company that operates more than 5,000 spa facilities in the US.
In addition, the opening ceremony of the Wonju Pavilion held on the first day of the exhibition was attended by key officials including Vice Governor Jeon Gwang-ryeol and Mayor Won Gang-su, and in particular, a congratulatory event was held to celebrate Team Elysium (CEO Kim Won-jin), which won the CES Innovation Award, drawing attention.
