Seoul Fintech Lab, 'Learn about government support projects, R&D, and TIPS for fintech startups' conference completed

Seoul Fintech Lab announced that it held and concluded a conference titled 'Learn about government support projects, R&D, and TIPS for fintech startups with Seoul Fintech Lab in 2025' on January 14th at the Seoul Fintech Lab for fintech companies.

This conference was attended by industry experts such as Encounter Management Research Institute CEO Seunghwan Kim, Gravity Ventures Vice President Daehong Kim, C&Venture Partners Managing Director Moongyu Lee, and Konkuk University Professor Jaesung Cho, who provided various information and insights for fintech startups. Yejin Company CEO Yejin Moon hosted the conference, which consisted of three sessions. Part 1 included an introduction to Seoul Fintech Lab and a lecture on government-supported projects, Part 2 included a talk show on government-supported projects, R&D, and TIPS, and Part 3 included a 1:1 mentoring session.

In Part 1, Seoul Fintech Lab Center Director Seo Hee-dong introduced Seoul Fintech Lab and the recruitment of companies to move into in the first half of the year, and CEO Kim Seung-hwan explained the application process and evaluation criteria for government-supported projects and presented strategies for fintech startups to effectively utilize them.

In the second part, Vice President Kim Dae-hong, Executive Director Lee Moon-gyu, and Professor Cho Jae-seong participated in an in-depth talk show on government-supported projects, R&D, and TIPS. They shared tips on writing business plans, support for overseas expansion, promising fintech sectors, and investment attraction strategies, and had time to help startups develop strategic approaches to successfully promote their businesses.

In Part 3, 1:1 mentoring between speakers was conducted for fintech companies that had pre-registered, and customized advice and support plans for government support projects tailored to each company were discussed.

Center Director Seo Hee-dong said, “I hope this conference will be an opportunity to provide useful information and networks to fintech startups,” and added, “Seoul Fintech Lab will continue to provide support for the development of the fintech industry and the growth of startups.”
