SHORTT announced on the 16th that it has completed the 'Creators Day' event held to celebrate the New Year of 2025.
'Short Creators Day' is a networking event where Short Creators and employees gather together to look back on the achievements of the past year and promote unity to welcome the new year.
This event, now in its second year in 2025, was held on the 10th at the Eliena Hotel in Nonhyeon-dong, Gangnam-gu, and was attended by over 80 people including Shortt employees, affiliates, and exclusive creators. Shortt's representative short-form creators, including Cine, Misunjjang, Yongdeok, Toxin, Wonmotime, and Coriners, visited the event, and platform officials from YouTube Korea, Meta, TikTok Korea, and Naver also attended.
At the event, Yoon Sang-soo, CEO of Shortt, shared Shortt’s business performance, which has doubled every year for the past three years, and announced the advertising market outlook for 2025 and management know-how for the growth of creators. He also announced plans to recruit excellent creators in the future and provide full support so that creators can utilize their intellectual property (IP) to expand various business opportunities.
At the short event, creators who achieved outstanding results last year were awarded. The grand prize in the advertising category was awarded to 'Cine', who grew into a representative beauty creator with 4.3 million followers, while 'Oh Yeo-ri', who won first place in the live category, and 'Joo Sung', who achieved the highest revenue, also received awards. In the special award category, the icon award went to 'Song Hyung-seok', the concept craftsman award went to 'Taesoo', and the rising star award went to 'Corriners'.
After the awards ceremony, various recreations and performances followed. Shortt's exclusive creator and dancer 'Banky' decorated the opening stage with a saxophone and vocal crew, and Song Hyung-seok, who appeared on the popular JTBC program <Project 7>, performed with his fellow participants. At the end of the event, invited artist Mac Daddy also performed a hip-hop performance.
CEO Yoon Sang-soo said, “I am glad to provide a place where employees, creators, and platform officials can talk about short-form and network together,” and added, “In 2025, along with the rapid growth of the short-form market, we will work to ensure that our affiliated creators’ businesses grow even further and that Shortt achieves even better results.”
