Through this agreement, the two companies will form a partnership and cooperate to ▲develop cybersecurity technology for blockchain services and platforms, ▲enhance the reliability of various Edge Devices and AI, and ▲build and expand the Web3 ecosystem.
Social Infratech has developed a blockchain mainnet, 'Daeguchain', based on its own 'Miterm' technology, and has been recognized for its technological prowess. In addition, it has applied 'Miterm-i' to ensure the integrity of CCTV video data and developed real-time monitoring technology, and plans to apply this to various smart devices such as drones and self-driving cars. In addition, it has launched a smartphone app, 'MyChain', to enable blockchain technology to be used in real life.
78 Research Lab is an IT security company with cyber warfare experience, and has strengths in recent IT platform security such as drones, robots, and self-driving cars. In addition, based on its expertise in the blockchain field, it is conducting smart contract code audits for DeFi operators and expanding into the Web3 area. It is preparing to grow into a security unicorn company by attracting pre-Series A investment in 2024.
Through this agreement, 78 Research Lab plans to strengthen the security of the blockchain mainnet developed by Social Infratech through real-time threat analysis, vulnerability detection, and simulated hacking. The two companies are expected to present new solutions related to data protection and security by combining existing security technologies with blockchain technology.
Kim Kyung-dong, CEO of 78 Research Lab, said, “Blockchain technology is a technology optimized for digital data reliability assurance, and we have continuously been interested in the possibility of combining it with security technology,” and added, “We will contribute to building a safe and reliable Web3 infrastructure together with Social Infratech.”
