Busan Creative Economy Innovation Center (Director Yongwoo Kim, hereinafter referred to as Busan Creative Economy) announced that Divein Group (CEO Changyoon Jeong), a childcare company, launched a new 'Divein Art Stay' at Hotel Skypark Kingstown Dongdaemun on the 13th together with local Busan artists.
'Divein Art Stay' is one of the representative businesses of the Divein Group. It is a gallery-style accommodation space where the artist's world of art expands throughout the guestrooms, allowing guests to enjoy the hotel's room service while immersing themselves in the artist's artistic inspiration and emotions. Here, travelers can stay in the room they have reserved and experience an artistic day with the artwork, and at the same time, purchase the artwork installed in the room.
Dive In Group has developed a total of 59 rooms as 'Dive In Art Stay' by partnering with 7 3-4 star hotels in Seoul, Busan, Gyeongju, and Jeju, as well as a 4 star hotel in Casablanca, Morocco, North Africa. In particular, this launch is drawing attention as it consists of works by Seo Chae-ha, a young and emerging artist affiliated with the Busan Arts and Culture Association, who has been actively working since last year.
Meanwhile, Dive In Group is an art startup that transforms hotel rooms into gallery-style accommodations to create a unique experience space as if you were sleeping in an art museum. It has expanded its global network by participating in Busan Changgyeong's global accelerating program, the '2023 B.Startup Global Expansion Support Project' and the '2024 Southeast Region Self-Project Vietnam Expansion Support Project'.
Through these activities, we achieved the success of moving into StationF, a global startup hub in France, and this year, we received a love call from the Odyssee Hotel, a 4-star boutique hotel in Casablanca, Morocco, confirming Divein Art Stay's first overseas expansion.
