On the 15th, Pluto announced that it supported global communication through ‘Live Translation,’ an AI-based multilingual simultaneous interpretation solution, at the ‘2025 Sustainable Agriculture Forum.’
The '2025 Sustainable Agriculture Forum' was an event hosted by Yonam University, organized by Isidor Sustainability Research Institute, and sponsored by Nonghyup University, where agricultural experts from around the world gathered to discuss sustainable agriculture models. Starting with a keynote speech by former Vice Minister of Agriculture, Food and Rural Affairs Lee Jun-won, the participants engaged in in-depth discussions on a variety of topics, including food safety, biodiversity, and climate change response.
Pluto’s ‘Live Translation’ solution translated the event presentations in real time on a large screen, enabling over 100 agricultural experts to immediately check the presentations in Korean and English. In addition, non-English speaking attendees were able to individually check the translated texts in up to 38 languages, including Chinese, Japanese, and Thai, through smartphone QR codes.
In this forum, Pluto collected specialized terms in the agricultural field in advance, built a Korean-English glossary (Translation Memory, TM) based on this, and trained its own translation engine. Through this, presentations requiring expertise were translated quickly and accurately, providing high-quality translation services to attendees.
Pluto CEO Lee Jeong-su said, “It is very meaningful to provide an environment where experts from various language groups can communicate smoothly at international agricultural forums through AI simultaneous interpretation solutions,” and added, “We will continue to develop the performance of our AI interpretation and translation solutions to provide a global communication environment without language barriers in various specialized fields, including agriculture.”
