Seoul IR, re-selected as 'Excellent Family-Friendly Company'

Seoul IR Network (hereafter referred to as Seoul IR), an IR consulting firm, announced on the 14th that it was recently re-selected as an ‘Excellent Family-Friendly Company’ by the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

The family-friendly certification system is a system that certifies companies that have implemented family-friendly systems in an exemplary manner, such as childcare leave, flexible work hours, and support for employees before and after childbirth, so that employees can balance work and family life. The system is selected through an examination by the Korea Management Certification Institute under the supervision of the Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.

Seoul IR first obtained family-friendly certification in 2021, and through this re-selection, the validity period has been extended to 2026. In this re-selection, Seoul IR received high marks for its top management leadership, family-friendly system implementation ability, and employee satisfaction surveys.

Currently, Seoul IR is operating various systems for employee welfare, such as working from home once a month, leaving work at 3 o'clock, flexible working hours, and sabbatical leave for long-term employees. In particular, there are a total of 18 'happiness items' operated internally, contributing to improving employees' work-life balance.

Han Hyun-seok, CEO of Seoul IR, said, “We plan to continuously expand the happiness item system,” and “We will focus on creating a healthy and vibrant organizational culture together with our employees.”

The philosophy of family-friendly management is considered an important factor in increasing corporate competitiveness and sustainability. Seoul IR's re-selection this time is significant in that it provides a foundation for organization members to work creatively and productively in an environment where work and life are balanced.

Meanwhile, Seoul IR has established itself as the number one company in Korea in the IR and PR consulting sector. Since its establishment in 1997, it has grown mainly through IPO (initial public offering) consulting, and last year alone, it successfully conducted annual consulting for 53 listed companies. Recently, it has been strengthening its investment attraction consulting business by successfully attracting unlisted companies’ funds.
