Sovmovement announced that it has completed CES 2025, which was held in Las Vegas, USA from January 9 to 12, 2025. CES is an IT and home appliance exhibition where innovative technologies and products are unveiled every year, and this year, over 140,000 visitors visited.
At this year’s CES, Sovmovement showcased ‘Granvix,’ an electric vehicle charging station safety management solution, and an AIoT-based cigarette butt management system. These two technologies received great attention from buyers and venture capitalists from around the world.
'Granvix' is a system that can detect and prevent fires and electrical accidents in electric vehicle charging stations in advance by combining TDR (time domain reflectometry) technology and AI-based predictive models. It is also a technology that automatically manages equipment durability to increase the operational efficiency of charging stations, and has received positive feedback from global electric vehicle charging station operators.
During the exhibition period, Sovmovement interacted with about 380 industry professionals including Silicon Valley venture capitalists, conducted purchase consultations totaling 2 billion won, and signed two letters of intent (LOI). In addition, it explored market potential with local governments and corporate officials from various countries including the U.S., Canada, and Japan, and received proposals for cooperation in the field of electric vehicle charging technology.
Sovmovement plans to collect 60 response data from market surveys conducted on-site and develop strategies that reflect the needs of each country’s market. The AIoT-based cigarette butt management system has already secured more than 10 domestic and international customers, and is preparing to make a leap into the global smart city market starting with this CES.
“CES 2025 was an important event that allowed us to verify our technological capabilities and confirm the possibility of collaboration with global partners,” said Sovemovement CEO Lee Yoon-ji. “We will further strengthen our position in the international market with sustainable smart city technology.”
