AETECH (CEO Taehyung Park), a leader in the future of the resource recycling economy, successfully completed its exhibition by presenting its innovative waste management solutions to visitors, investors, and buyers at the CES 2025, a home appliance and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA from the 7th to the 10th (local time).
At CES 2025, Aittech exhibited its 'airo-mrf (Ai robot Material Recovery Facility)', which it aims to open this year. Aittech has planned and is currently building an automated waste sorting facility, an 'unmanned robot resource recovery center'. In this facility, the AI-based waste optical sorting robot 'Atron' sorts resources, and robots are in charge of the entire process, from loading and unloading waste to producing PET flakes.
In order to convey a sense of presence to overseas visitors who have difficulty visiting the Airo-MRF in person, Aitech actively utilized VR and AR to promote Airo-MRF and operated an experiential booth. Not only overseas visitors, but also domestic public institutions and large corporations visited the Aitech booth and showed great interest in the company’s waste management solutions.
Aettech added, “Since the core themes of this year’s CES are artificial intelligence and sustainability, Airo-MRF has received a lot of attention,” and “It was an opportunity to confirm the world’s needs for waste management.” Aettech said that through the exhibition, it was able to confirm its competitiveness in the global market. In particular, waste sorting facility operators in the U.S. and Japan have expressed their intention to introduce robots, and Aettech plans to actively continue follow-up meetings for overseas expansion.
Meanwhile, Aettech has developed an AI-based waste optical sorting robot, ‘Aetron’, and successfully commercialized it for the first time in Korea. Aetron is currently being operated in about eight locations in Korea and is also planning to export overseas. Aettech’s second business model, ‘Airo-mrf’, is scheduled to open in Gyeongseo-dong, Seo-gu, Incheon this year.
