ECOVACS unveiled the 'DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI', which is scheduled to be released in Korea this February, at CES 2025 in Las Vegas, USA, and received the '2024-2025 Global Smart Home Brand TOP 10' and the 'Special Award for the Robot Lawn Mower GOAT Series', proving its solid position as an industry leader.

The 'DEEBOT X8 PRO OMNI' caught the eye of many with its industry-first innovative feature, the Ozmo Roller self-cleaning mop technology. The Ozmo Roller self-cleaning mop technology provides non-stop, perfect cleaning with an ultra-high-speed, ultra-high-pressure automatic cleaning system. It also features TrueEdge adaptive edge mopping technology and AIVI 3D 3.0 Omni approach technology to thoroughly clean even the edges. 
◆ No more worries about cross-contamination thanks to the Ozmo Roller's automatic cleaning mop technology
The 'Deebot X8 Pro Omni' completely solves the problem of cross-contamination and bacterial growth in robot vacuum cleaners through Ecovacs' innovative Ozmo Roller self-cleaning mop technology, and effectively removes even old stains.
The Ozmo Roller self-cleaning mop technology continuously supplies clean water to the roller through 16 water jet nozzles. The contaminated water that washes the floor is removed by the scraper and sent to the wastewater tank, and clean water is immediately re-supplied to the roller. This process helps the roller rotate 200 times per minute in real time to always maintain a clean mop condition.
This integrated roller structure has a smaller roller contact area than the commonly used circular or track type, preventing slippage and maintaining constant pressure for effective stain removal. It also makes the floor less wet, allowing it to dry more quickly.

The 'Deebot X8 Pro Omni' is equipped with ▲adaptive roller ▲adaptive side brush ▲TrueEdge 3D edge sensor, solving the problem of cleaning edges and corners that existing robot vacuums tend to miss, eliminating the inconvenience of having to finish it yourself.
The improved TrueEdge 3D edge sensor reconstructs a 3D image of the edge based on high-precision structured light technology to identify protruding locations and maintain a safe distance. This allows the robot vacuum cleaner to approach obstacles at close range without bumping into them, allowing it to clean even difficult edges such as mop holders, thresholds, and gaps under furniture.
In addition, the adaptive roller continuously expands and contracts to prevent missing cleaning areas and maximize the cleaning range to clean the edges of all spaces. The adaptive side brush is folded during general cleaning and instantly expands when needed using a 3D sensor algorithm to clean even narrow spaces thoroughly, increasing user satisfaction.

The 'Deebot X8 Pro Omni' combines AI and advanced sensors to efficiently navigate and clean your home. Based on the Visual Language Model (VLM), this intelligent technology identifies and avoids obstacles by recognizing the outline of all objects in real time, unlike conventional methods that pre-programmed obstacles. In addition, the TrueEdge 3D sensor is combined to create a deeper and more efficient cleaning path and demonstrates excellent response capabilities in unexpected situations.
The 'DEEBOT X8 Pro Omni', which will be launched in Korea soon, won the 'Indoor Cleaning Solution Gold Award' at the 2024 IFA Global Product Technology Innovation Awards, and was also awarded the 'IDG Innovation Award' in recognition of its excellent technologies such as its innovative mopping system, intelligent obstacle avoidance function, and AI voice control function, and was selected as the 'IFA Best of IFA'. Meanwhile, at this CES2025, the GOAT series of robotic lawn mowers, which are in the spotlight in Europe and the US, was honored with a special award for service robot excellence and ECOVACS' innovation.
