Allsign provides 'public electronic signature service' to Dangjin City Hall

Modusign Co., Ltd. announced on the 14th that it will provide Modusign public electronic signature service to Dangjin City Hall.

Dangjin City Hall uses the public electronic signature service of Allsign for documents to decide on the results of the deliberation of the Software Business Task Review Committee. The Software Task Review Committee is a committee established by the Civil Affairs Information Division of the Autonomous Environment Bureau of Dangjin City Hall in accordance with Article 50 of the Software Promotion Act, and in 2024, it will deliberate and approve tasks such as the establishment of a road occupancy information management system and the reorganization of Dangjin City's sector-specific homepages. In order to complete a task, each committee member's signature of approval is required, and through Allsign, requests for review of agenda items, opinions, and processing of documents related to resolution are carried out.

With the introduction of this electronic signature service, Dangjin City Hall can now issue, review, stamp, store, and manage documents in the form of electronic documents in a digital environment instead of paper documents. In particular, the list of deliberation committee members is anonymized and transmitted through Allsign Public, so the list of committee members is not exposed.

In addition, Modusign is highly trusted by institutions as it can safely store documents from data leaks, hacking, and insider threats. The CSAP standard grade that Modusign possesses is a security certification that must be checked when introducing SaaS (Software as a Service) in public institutions, and Modusign has passed 79 control items including this. In addition, it has obtained K-PaaS certification and GS certification 1st grade, ensuring a safe electronic document management environment.

Currently, Modusign is providing services to local governments nationwide, including Dangjin City Hall, Seoul Metropolitan City Hall, Busan City Hall, and Daejeon City Hall, and is also providing electronic signature services to major public institutions, such as the Digital Platform Government Committee, Korea Real Estate Board, Korea Racing Authority, and Gyeonggi Provincial Council. Through this, work efficiency is increased, and services are provided to institutions in more than 70% of the administrative districts of the Republic of Korea. With the electronic signature service provided to Dangjin City Hall this time, the plan is to expand the introduction of services to more local governments and institutions.

Modusign CEO Lee Young-jun said, “Public institutions handle sensitive data, so a high level of security is required,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure that public institutions and the public can sign with confidence through Modusign’s accident-free security history that does not allow even a single security incident, and the industry’s largest number and highest security certifications.”
