
Specspace CEO Minho Yeom received the Minister of Education Award at the 3rd Digital Sprout Conference held at Hotel Naru Seoul MGallery on January 10 in recognition of his contribution to resolving the digital divide and fostering future talent through the 'Digital Sprout Project'. On that day, CEO Yeom presented 'Cases of resolving the digital divide through nationwide program operation, etc.'
Specspace is a company that provides AI-based digital transformation (DX) solutions, operates the 'Sniper Factory', a space innovation technology development and IT talent training program, and provides customized solutions to various industrial fields. In addition, it is leading digital transformation and growing in domestic and international markets.
The Digital Sprout Project is a joint project between the Ministry of Education, 17 city and provincial offices of education across the country, and the Korea Foundation for the Advancement of Science and Creativity, with the goal of providing SW and AI education to elementary, middle, and high school students to cultivate digital capabilities. Specspace operates this project in cooperation with Korea Aerospace University, and has implemented programs to foster future IT and aviation talent.
CEO Yeom Min-ho said, “We will continue to focus more on developing digital education and digital transformation solutions, create social value through AI technology, and grow into a competitive company in the global market.”
A Specspace official added, “Based on Specspace’s SW/AI technology expertise and Korea Aerospace University’s aerospace expertise, we will foster domestic digital talent.”
