SG Lab unveiled its intelligent golf club 'G-grip' at CES 2025, which was held at the Eureka Park exhibition hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center from the 7th to the 10th (local time). This year's CES was an exhibition with the participation of 4,500 companies from 160 countries, and the latest technologies and innovative products were introduced.
SG Lab is a company that is attracting attention for its golf training solution that combines AI technology in the Ansan Special Zone where Hanyang University's ERICA Campus is located.
'G-grip' is an intelligent golf club developed with SG Lab's proprietary technology. It precisely measures and analyzes the golfer's swing data by utilizing a flexible pressure sensor based on nanomaterials and a dual motion sensor. This helps improve the golfer's skills by increasing distance, improving accuracy, and enhancing swing consistency. At this CES, a new generative AI-based real-time coaching function was newly unveiled.
An SG Lab official said, “G-grip is receiving a lot of attention in global markets including Japan and Europe, and we are currently exploring new possibilities through collaboration with global club manufacturers,” adding, “We plan to expand our technological capabilities in global markets including the U.S. market.”
