500 Global to Invest in Visionspace

Visionspace announced on the 13th that it had attracted pre-seed investment from 500 Global. The investment amount and corporate value were not disclosed.

Visionspace has been recognized for its ability to maximize the productivity and operational efficiency of factories by developing an integrated control system for industrial robots using AI digital twins, and has been selected for the Deep Tech Tips (TIPS), a startup support program of the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Deep Tech Tips is a program that supports R&D funds and networks for early-stage startups with innovative technologies to accelerate their entry into the global market. Through this, Visionspace plans to lay the foundation for the development of industrial AI technology and market expansion.

With the demand for factory automation and logistics center robots skyrocketing, Visionspace is responding to the growing global demand for software that provides ROS-based Robot Management System (RMS), Automation Control System (ACS), and Execution Management System (ECS). Visionspace has developed its own automation engine that combines AI and digital twin technology, and provides 3D modeling simulation of robots quickly and efficiently through 3D generators and editors utilizing RAG-based LLM/VLM AI. Through this, it suggests optimal paths and movements of industrial robots and remotely controls processes and logistics flows, contributing to increasing the productivity of factories and logistics centers.

CEO Choi Won-seok said, “This investment attraction and selection by DeepTech Tips are the results of recognition of Visionspace’s technological prowess and market potential,” adding, “We will present a new standard for the automation industry by converging industrial robots, AI, and digital twin technologies, and stand at the center of innovation in the global automation market.”

“VisionSpace was able to secure global competitiveness based on Korea’s strong manufacturing base and advanced robotics environment, and in particular, the fact that Korea ranks first in the world in robot density is a significant asset in the advanced technology industry,” said Kwon Hyuk-hyun, an auditor at 500 Global. “VisionSpace’s technological prowess will provide differentiated value in the global automation market.”
