Klook announced on the 13th that it has signed a business agreement (MOU) with Hanjin Travel and will begin developing custom package travel products.
Through this agreement, the two companies will launch a ‘one-of-a-kind custom package travel’ service. This is a service where customers can freely combine Hanjin Travel’s Airtel (flight + hotel) package with Klook’s activity and tour products to create their own customized travel itinerary.
Klook and Hanjin Travel will support a system that allows customers to book more than 500,000 Klook travel products and Hanjin Travel’s various airtel packages in one place through API linkage based on the digital infrastructure of both companies. Through this, customers can book flights and accommodations at once and conveniently plan their trips by freely selecting activities and tour products.
In addition, Klook is running various promotions to commemorate this business agreement. Until the end of March, Hanjin Travel customers will receive a 10% discount on Klook rental car products in major travel destinations such as Japan, Taiwan, the United States, Australia, and Europe (Italy, France, Switzerland, and Spain), and all Hanjin Travel customers who newly install the Klook app will receive a free 10GB Klook Travel eSIM that can be used in the relevant region.
In addition, Klook members can participate in a free travel event when signing up for Hanjin Travel membership, and if they write 'The travel product I want to go on and create in 2025' on the Hanjin Travel event page by January 19, they can receive various prizes through a raffle.
Lee Jun-ho, Klook Korea Country Manager, said, “We are making various attempts to increase the convenience of the travel preparation process, and through the strategic partnership with Hanjin Travel, we will present a new travel paradigm that will resolve the inconvenience of independent travelers having to individually book flights, hotels, and tourist attraction admission tickets, and will allow them to create travel products that suit their tastes.”
