Smart solution company KSTEC (CEO Seungdo Lee) announced on the 10th that it has successfully won the Advanced Planning & Scheduling (APS) project from global cosmetics manufacturing (OGM) specialist Cosmecca Korea.
Cosmecca Korea is the first company in the cosmetics industry to be selected as a K-Smart Lighthouse Factory, and has recently opened a ‘Smart Factory Integrated Control Room’ at its headquarters to accelerate the advancement of smart factories through digital innovation.
KSTEC has been conducting optimization, artificial intelligence, and big data consulting and development projects since 1998. Since being selected as a smart factory supplier by the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in 2016, it has successfully carried out numerous smart factory construction and advancement projects. Recently, it is carrying out APS projects for small and medium-sized companies such as Jinyang Oil Seal, Korea Nitdamua, and A-Tech Solution.
This APS project by Cosmecca Korea is scheduled to be carried out over 2-3 years as part of the K-Smart Lighthouse Factory project. KSTEC plans to work closely with Cosmecca Korea’s SCM team and IT strategy team to successfully carry out the project.
KSTEC develops Cosmecca Korea's APS system through the SyncPlan APS solution. The scope of construction includes ▲Production Planning ▲Production Scheduling ▲Smart Gantt (plan inquiry, modification, early issue recognition). In particular, the Task Server included in the SyncPlan APS package provides external server call, queue creation, and sequential execution management functions, and supports efficient operation of the system.
A KSTEC official said, “We will successfully carry out Cosmecca Korea’s APS project based on our proven expertise from 27 years of accumulated optimization construction experience,” and “We will actively support Cosmecca Korea so that it can further strengthen its global competitiveness through the advancement of its smart factory.”
