
Channel Corporation (CEO Siwon Choi), the operator of the all-in-one AI business messenger 'Channel Talk', announced on the 13th that it had attracted an investment of 11 billion won. The total investment amount is approximately 51 billion won.
This investment was led by existing investor BonAngels Venture Partners, with participation from Laguna Investment and new investor Altos Ventures.
Channel Talk is an all-in-one AI business messenger that provides various functions necessary for customer consultation, such as AI chatbot, chat consultation, CRM marketing, team messenger, internet phone, and video call, and is being used by over 180,000 customer companies in various industries such as fashion, beauty, and travel. In particular, the AI agent 'ALF' has been introduced by over 1,000 companies in just two months since its official launch, showing stable growth.
With this investment, Channel Corporation plans to focus on advancing AI consulting technology by developing ‘Voice Alpha’, which responds to customer inquiries with AI voice. Through this, the company aims to solidify its position as an AI business messenger that can be utilized by various companies, including small and medium-sized enterprises, medium-sized enterprises, and large corporations.
In addition, Channel Corporation has achieved steady growth by attracting 20,000 clients in Japan alone, including the fashion giant Adastria and the select shop brand United Arrows, and has entered 22 countries around the world, with 25% of its total sales coming from the global market. In 2022, it established a U.S. corporation with the goal of expanding into the North American market, and plans to focus on expanding into the global market this year.
Jihyun Ah, a senior reviewer at BonAngels Venture Partners, said, “Channel Corporation is one of the representative startups that generates revenue by integrating AI technology into existing products, and the number of domestic and global customers is also steadily increasing.” She added, “Also, the AI agent market is a field with high potential that is growing rapidly worldwide, which is why we decided to invest.”
Choi Si-won, CEO of Channel Corporation, said, “With this investment, we have secured growth momentum that will allow us to expand our business areas and strengthen our technology development capabilities,” adding, “Through this, we will establish ourselves as a leading SaaS company in Korea that is also counted among the top companies in the global market.”
