
Global AI search startup Liner (CEO Jinwoo Kim) announced on the 13th that it was selected for the '2025 Emerging AI+X TOP 100 (hereinafter referred to as Emerging AI+X TOP 100)' hosted by the Korea Artificial Intelligence Industry Association (AIIA, Chairman Hongseong Jang) .
The 'Emerging AI+X Top 100', hosted by the Korea Artificial Intelligence Industry Association since 2020, is a project to discover promising AI companies that have proven growth potential, innovation, and future value in various fields based on AI technology.
Liner is an AI search service that provides reliable sources and highly accurate answers based on an agentic search system that solves complex problems and interacts with users. Previously, users had to search for each individual keyword on portal sites and collect information one by one, but Liner AI search with the agentic search system allows users to quickly and accurately obtain the necessary valuable information without going through multiple steps.
In addition to answers specialized for general information search, Liner also provides 'Academic Mode AI Search' that presents answers based on papers and journals in various fields. Liner provides functions specialized for information search and use and has secured over 95% of users in global markets such as the US, Canada, Australia, and Europe. The subscription retention rate of Liner AI search service reached 97% as of December 24. Users cite the high accuracy of answers and the fact that they can reduce concerns about hallucinations with sources as the special features of Liner.
Kim Jin-woo, CEO of Liner, said, “I believe that we were able to be selected for the Emerging AI+X Top 100 for two consecutive years in recognition of the differentiated competitiveness of Liner AI search technology,” and added, “We plan to continue to resolve various stresses that people experience in the process of exploring and utilizing knowledge with AI technology and solidify our position in the global market.”
Recently, Liner, as a representative AI startup leading the development of the AI industry, has joined the 'K-AI Alliance', an alliance of Korean artificial intelligence innovation companies led by SKT, with the aim of helping Korea emerge as a global AI powerhouse.
