Edtech startup Freewillin announced that it will participate in the 22nd Korea Education Fair, held at COEX in Samseong-dong, Seoul, from January 15th to 17th. The fair is sponsored by 16 city and provincial offices of education, including the Ministry of Education, the Ministry of Science and ICT, the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, and the Seoul Metropolitan Office of Education. Freewillin will introduce its flagship services, "School Flat" and "Puli Campus."
"Schoolplat" is a school-tailored math AI courseware that will introduce a feature that allows teachers to monitor students' learning progress in real time. This feature is designed to allow teachers to check each student's solution status, problem progress, and scores at a glance, and provide real-time feedback. It is scheduled to be officially added to the service before the start of the new school year in 2025. Schoolplat is also introducing an "AI subtitle service" for students with hearing impairments. This service provides subtitles for math lectures and explanations, helping them better understand the lectures. The service plans to expand the subtitle service to all Schoolplat problem-solving videos within this year.
"Pulicampus" is an AI courseware platform specializing in university education. It provides customized diagnostic assessment services for incoming college freshmen through diagnostic assessments of their basic academic abilities. Specifically, the expo will showcase solutions designed to address the introduction of the autonomous major selection system. It analyzes incoming high school courses to identify and manage academic progress and departmental competition rates. Furthermore, Pulicampus provides Korean language learning support services for international students and exchange students, and is developing various programs to enhance academic readiness and Korean language proficiency.
During the expo, at the 8th International Education Conference (EDUCON 2025), Freewillin CEO Kwon Ki-seong will give a lecture titled "Freewillin's Vision with AI: Beyond Math Problem Banks to University EdTech." He will also participate in a discussion session titled "Student-Centered Digital Education: Building a Creativity, Collaboration, and Global Learning Environment." Dennis Cheek, Dean of Ciputra University in Indonesia, and Coco Wong, Co-founder of Kids International, will also participate in the session, where they will discuss global education trends and technological innovation.
