Polyphenol Factory receives interest from global venture capitalists and investors.

Polyphenol Factory (CEO Hae-shin Lee) announced that it received love calls from about 50 global and Korean venture capital and investment firms, including Silicon Valley's PLUG&PLAY, at CES 2025.

Gravity Shampoo is a high-functionality hair care brand developed by KAIST Professor Lee Hae-shin and young scientists, and is participating in CES 2025, the world's largest home appliance and IT exhibition held in Las Vegas, USA.

CES 2025 is a global showcase showcasing innovative technologies from around the world. Gravity is standing out with its hair loss care solution, based on KAIST technology. The event has been a huge success since its first day, with over 20,000 visitors visiting the booth as of the 10th. Samples have sold out quickly, demonstrating the company's strong local presence.

Visitors are praising the immediate hair thickness and strength enhancement effects of the polyphenol polymer technology of KAIST's patented ingredient, 'LiftMax 308™'.

Gravity Shampoo has been clinically proven to increase hair volume by 40.42% with just one use, increase the thickness of each hair strand by 6.27%, and reduce hair loss by 70.18% after two weeks of use. Having successfully debuted on the international stage through CES 2025, the company plans to expand into the North American market in earnest, starting with its launch on Amazon in the US.

In particular, Polyphenol Factory received attention at the event from over 50 global and Korean venture capital firms and investors, including Silicon Valley's PLUG&PLAY, recognizing the brand's growth potential. PLUG&PLAY is a global accelerator and venture capital firm known for its early investments in unicorn companies like PayPal and Dropbox, investing in over 200 companies annually. PLUG&PLAY expressed deep interest in Gravity's polyphenol source technology and its continued growth potential.

“At CES 2025, where companies with strong original technologies gathered, we were able to confirm the direction that Korean beauty tech companies should take. Based on science-based innovation, we will widely promote Korea’s technological prowess in the global market and achieve sustainable growth,” said Lee Hae-shin, a distinguished professor of chemistry at KAIST and CEO of Polyphenol Factory.

Meanwhile, Polyphenol Factory plans to build on its success at CES 2025 by launching officially on Amazon in the US next month to accelerate its global market penetration.
