Green Ribbon Signs MOU with Dongguk University Hospital and CHA Medical Center

Green Ribbon Co., Ltd. announced that it signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with Dongguk University Hospital on December 5th of last year and with Cha Hospital on December 23rd.

This agreement focuses on fostering specialized talent in femtech healthcare and research and development in digital health. It aims to create new technologies and services within the healthcare industry and enhance the competitiveness of the domestic fintech and digital healthcare markets.

Green Ribbon is currently attracting attention for its healthcare and clinical trial services through "LifeCatch" and "GreenScout." "LifeCatch" allows customers to easily and conveniently check for missed insurance benefits from the past three years and even handles claims processing on their behalf, helping to protect their rights as insurance consumers. "GreenScout" is a platform for recruiting and managing clinical trial subjects, contributing to increased convenience for subjects and maximizing the efficiency of research institutions.

With this agreement, Green Ribbon Co., Ltd. has expanded its existing fintech (insurtech) technology into the healthcare sector, presenting a new business model for the first time in Korea. Building on this foundation, Green Ribbon has successfully initiated clinical trial subject recruitment, demonstrating the practical feasibility of digital healthcare services.

“This agreement will be the first example of a fintech company collaborating with other industries, including healthcare, to drive disruptive innovation,” said Kim Gyu-ri, CEO of Green Ribbon. “We expect this to become a significant milestone that accelerates the digital transformation of the domestic healthcare industry and increases the possibility of global expansion.”
