RoadComplete partners with Jellysaurus to launch global publishing business.

Road Complete Co., Ltd. (CEO Bae Su-jeong) announced that it will begin its hybrid casual publishing business by signing a global publishing contract with game developer Jellysaurus (CEO Lee Sae-bae) for the new mobile rogue-like RPG 'Mini Tales (tentative name)'.

According to the two companies, Jellysaurus has established a foundation to focus on improving the quality of Mini Tales, which is currently in development, while RoadComplete will provide an environment for index-based development, marketing and operational services for global expansion, and serve as a publisher to maximize profitability.

With this agreement, LordComplete plans to leverage its accumulated experience and expertise in the global market to leverage its capabilities as a publisher. LordComplete previously garnered significant industry attention in 2023 with the successful launch of its casual idle RPG, "Legend of Slime." Within just one year of its launch, the game ranked fifth in global sales in the idle RPG category, surpassing 1 million daily active users, accumulating 24 million downloads, and generating KRW 150 billion in cumulative sales.

Jellysaurus, the first publishing business partner of RoadComplete, was founded by five developers who worked together at Enphil, the developer of 'Medal Masters' serviced by Nexon. Based on over 10 years of development skills and diverse experiences, Jellysaurus is a talented game developer that received a positive response when it released the pixel art RPG 'Knights of Caliber' to the global market last year.

Mini Tales, developed by Jellysaurus and to be serviced globally by Road Complete, is a unique style of roguelike RPG that combines the casual board genre of rolling dice and moving around the board. Its cute cartoon-style graphics, easy controls, and the fun of devising various strategies give it a fresh appeal.

Jellysaurus CEO Lee Sae-bae said, “We are very pleased to have signed a publishing contract with Lord Complete, which has experienced success in the global market with Legend of Slime,” and added, “We will do our best to deliver the fresh charm of Mini Tales to users around the world through Lord Complete’s global operation know-how.”

LordComplete CEO Bae Soo-jung stated, “RoadComplete will begin full-scale mobile game publishing business starting this year, 2025. To this end, we have been working since last year to discover game developers with excellent capabilities and establish a foundation for mutual growth.” She added, “Based on the development and service experience we have accumulated so far, we plan to focus our company’s capabilities on presenting differentiated games and operations in the global market and emerging as a global publisher.”
