Meisa Participates in the Korea Golf Course Industry Expo

Meissa, the company behind "Meissa Green," announced that it will participate in the Korea Golf Course Industry Expo, held at Daegu EXCO from January 15th to 17th. Founded at Seoul National University in 2017, Meissa has been providing solutions that enhance work efficiency, such as digital surveying, construction error analysis, and progress rate comparison, utilizing drone-based 3D mapping technology.

Meisa recently secured over KRW 10 billion in Series C funding, bringing its total investment to approximately KRW 25 billion. This round included participation from existing shareholders Korea Aerospace Industries (KAI), A Ventures, and Yuon Investment, as well as new investors such as KDB Industrial Bank, G&Tech Venture Investment, Bithumb Investment, and Korea Development Bank Capital. Through this funding, Meisa is accelerating its technology development and market expansion, and is accelerating preparations for an IPO, targeting a KOSDAQ listing in 2026.

"MesaGreen" is a solution that enhances course management efficiency by digitally modeling golf courses in high resolution using drones and a 3D mapping engine. In particular, the "Optical Drone Solution," utilizing high-resolution optical cameras, offers functions such as 4K+ bird's-eye view course management, 3D modeling, and field inspection. Its "Work Log" feature, which allows managers to collaborate on this spatial information, enhances golf course management productivity.

Mesa is collaborating with major domestic golf courses to commercialize MesaGreen. Rexfield Country Club, a premium membership golf course in Yeoju, Gyeonggi Province, implemented MesaGreen early in the solution's development process, improving course management efficiency. Flamingo Country Club, located in Dangjin, Chungcheongnam-do, uses MesaGreen to provide comprehensive monitoring from construction management to course maintenance. Furthermore, MesaGreen is enhancing operational efficiency and quality through initiatives such as sprinkler management using thermal imaging drones.

Meisa CEO Choi Seok-won said, “Through our participation in this Korea Golf Course Industry Expo, we will widely promote Meisa Green’s excellence and strengthen our network with domestic and international golf course industry professionals, thereby establishing ourselves as a leader in smart golf course management solutions.”
