Cookie Place selected as a "Tips" by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups

Subculture startup Cookie Place announced on the 8th that it had been selected for "TIPS," a private investment-led technology startup support program hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups. Being selected as a final participant in the TIPS R&D program is a recognition of Cookie Place's technological advancement and growth potential. Through this, Cookie Place plans to strengthen its domestic and international presence and leap forward as a unique platform for subculture creators and consumers.

Cookie Place operates a commission brokerage platform called "Crepe." Crepe is based on a commission system that requests and produces original works. This platform allows creators to maintain copyright while conducting efficient and reliable transactions. Crepe currently boasts 300,000 global users and has established itself as a leading platform, brokering over 100,000 commission transactions per month.

Through this selection of tips, Cookie Place plans to develop and apply ▲a vertical subculture content editor ▲an AI learning disruption filter ▲a portfolio management solution to Crepe. The "Editor" function supports subculture creators in easily creating and publishing content even in a mobile environment, while the "AI learning disruption filter" protects creators' rights by providing an AI learning disruption function for content. Furthermore, the "Portfolio Management Solution" helps creators easily publish and manage their work.

Cookie Place plans to address the challenges of the existing commission market and build a platform for more active interaction between subculture creators and consumers. Furthermore, it will support domestic subculture creators in entering the global market and provide a safe commission transaction environment for international users.

The 'Tips' program is a startup support program in which the government discovers promising startups and supports their technological development and overseas expansion. Selected startups are provided with up to 500 million won in research and development funds and 200 million won in overseas marketing and business linkage support.

Jang Dong-hyun, co-CEO of Cookie Place, said, “We will grow into a leading platform connecting subculture creators and overseas users by verifying the commercial viability of AI learning interference technology.”
