The startup support channel "Startup Followup" announced on the 8th that it will continue its support program into 2025. The channel features videos showcasing the daily lives and realistic stories of startup CEOs, serving as a practical guide for early-stage and aspiring entrepreneurs.
In 2024, 130 companies applied, and 10 teams were ultimately selected. The videos they produced inspired and provided practical assistance to many entrepreneurs. A representative from Startup Followup expressed regret, saying, "We wanted to include the stories of all the CEOs, but due to time constraints, we could only select a select few."
In 2025, the program will double its support to 20 teams, with applications accepted from January 5th to May 10th. Selected teams will have the opportunity to share their journey with the public by recording the realities and challenges of their early startup years on video.
“Thanks to the response and support from many entrepreneurs, we are able to support more teams this year,” said an official. “We will strive to provide aspiring entrepreneurs with courage and practical help through the honest stories of startups.”
Applications for the Startup Follow-up Support Program can be made through the link at the top of the Hello Unicorn app and the related announcement on the K-STARTUP platform. This program is expected to revitalize the startup ecosystem and provide a valuable opportunity to share the challenges and daily lives of entrepreneurs.
“The startup ecosystem thrives when CEOs share their experiences and realities,” the official said. “We look forward to sharing even more stories in 2025.”
