Polyphenol Factory 'Gravity' to Participate in CES 2025

KAIST startup Polyphenol Factory (CEO Hae-shin Lee) announced that its hair loss care brand 'Gravity' participated in CES 2025, which began on the 7th.

Gravity is a hair loss shampoo based on KAIST (Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology) technology, and has been loved by consumers for its various achievements since its launch.

CES (Consumer Electronics Show) is the world's largest technology exhibition hosted by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA), an international exhibition with approximately 4,300 companies and approximately 130,000 visitors.

At CES 2025, Gravity debuted in the North American market as a beauty tech brand that combines cutting-edge technology and beauty.

Launched in April of last year, Gravity quickly established itself as a leading brand in the hair care market, selling out for eight consecutive months across major domestic distribution channels. At one major distributor, it generated 1 billion won in sales in just 40 minutes, establishing itself as a "game changer in the hair loss shampoo market." To date, cumulative sales have surpassed 430,000 bottles.

At CES 2025, Gravity's core technology, LiftMax 308™, received rave reviews from local visitors. This ingredient protects damaged hair cuticles and forms a powerful protective layer, providing immediate results. It also adds elasticity and volume to sagging, limp hair, garnering attention from global beauty tech professionals.

The Gravity booth attracted significant attention from the first day of the exhibition, attracting over 8,000 visitors on the first day. Live demonstrations and sampling events allowed visitors to experience the effectiveness of the LiftMax 308™ firsthand. Furthermore, the on-site samples sold out in half a day, demonstrating the high level of interest. The company also unveiled a lineup of export products aimed at global markets, attracting the attention of overseas buyers.

One booth visitor commented, "It was impressive to be able to experience the immediate effects firsthand. My limp, thin hair now looks thicker and more visibly improved." Another attendee expressed high expectations, saying, "Gravity's technological prowess and scientific approach to beauty tech are truly amazing."

KAIST professor and Polyphenol Factory CEO Lee Hae-shin said, “CES 2025 is an important opportunity to introduce Korea’s innovative beauty tech to the world, and we will continue to strive to provide better value to consumers around the world.”

Meanwhile, Gravity plans to make a full-scale entry into the North American and European markets starting with its launch on Amazon in the US in February 2025 following its participation in CES 2025.
